Cuisinart DCC-1200 12-Cup Brew Central CoffeemakerThe Cuisinart DCC-1200 12-Cup Brew Central Coffee maker is a fantastic retro looking machine that utilizes some of the best brewing technology currently available. Like most coffee makers on the market you can pre-program when to make the brew, which is just perfect for mornings. By the time you get out of bed and wander into the kitchen your hot brewed coffee will be waiting for you. You can pause the brewing process and pour yourself a cup by simply removing the carafe. • A double walled carafe would have been better

This coffee maker would be great for:

  • People who want the option of brewing as much coffee as they want (up to 12 cups)
  • People who want a programmable coffee machine
  • Anyone who wants a stylish coffee machine that stands out

ACTUAL USER FEEDBACK:

Saracen,

“In my 50 years of owning coffee makers this is the best one I have purchased. It doesn’t necessarily have the most features, but it does make the best coffee and at the end of the day that is what counts. It brews the coffee at a perfect 185-190 degrees. To get the best out of this machine an produce the best brew, you’ll have to grind the coffee a bit more than usual…” Paraphrased for size – Read the original review here

Cuisinart DCC-2000 Coffee-on-Demand 12-cup Programmable CoffeemakerThe Cuisinart DCC-2000 coffee-on-demand is a wonderful machine that can make brew up to 12 cups of coffee one after the other. Simply turn the lever on the front of the machine and it will brew the coffee a deliver a stream of rich coffee from its double wall reservoir. There is never any guessing to when it will run out of coffee as it has an inbuilt gauge that displays how many cups it has remaining. Another feature we like is the design. It’s very classy with its aluminum construction and minimalistic style.

The Good:

  • Hassle free operation – One touch per serve
  • 12 cup capacity
  • Smooth design
  • Will last for years to come – highly durable
  • ‘Cups of coffee’ remaining gauge
  • Keeps the coffee hot for up to 4 hours

The Bad:

  • The top cover is hinged at the back. So if you intend on placing this machine in a nook or in a tight space you will have top pull it out every time to get to the filter and reservoir.

ACTUAL USER FEEDBACK:

Dee,

“I really love this coffee maker, it makes a great coffee and not having a glass carafe is an added bonus in my opinion. What surprized me was that there is a built-in covered spout in the coffee bucket. There is no mention of it in the manual, but it works an absolute treat and it never spills any water…” Paraphrased for size – Read the original review here
