REVIEW: Cuisinart DGB-600BC Grind and Brew – Is It Any Good?

Cuisinart DGB-600BC Grind and Brew Review by Darren Brylewski

My Overall Rating: 4star

Available on Amazon.com for $104.72

Cuisinart DGB-600BC Grind and Brew Brushed ChromeThe Cuisinart DGB-600BC Grind and Brew is quite a unique coffee machine as it has an inbuilt grinder, water filter and double insulated thermal carafe. The water filter does a great job in removing any chemicals and substances from tap water, improving the taste and aroma of the brew. Another handy feature is the ability to pre-program when it will brew the coffee, just perfect for early mornings. Cleaning the unit is also a breeze as the grinder is easily removed as is the filter. Once the coffee is ready, the machine will let out tone signaling its completion. All you have to do is pour the coffee into a mug and voila, a nicely brewed coffee is ready to go.

The Good:

  • Automatically grinds the coffee beans – This means the brew is extremely fresh
  • Great tasting coffee brew
  • Carafe is well sealed so it keeps the coffee hot for long periods of time
  • Pre-programmable
  • Easy to clean
  • Easy to use
  • Stainless steel looks great

This coffee maker is currently on sale with a 55% discount on Amazon.com

The Bad:

  • Can’t tell how much coffee is left in the carafe
  • The grinder doesn’t have any setting for the amount of beans
  • The grinder is noisy – but then again, which one isn’t?

This coffee maker would be great for:

  • People who want the freshest coffee
  • Anyone after a stylish coffee machine
  • Anyone who enjoys a nice brewed coffee anytime of the day

Let’s have a look at some of it features:

  • Built in coffee grinder
  • Charcoal water filter
  • Double wall insulated thermal carafe
  • 10 cup capacity (5oz cup size)
  • Casing made from brushed stainless steel
  • Programmable settings
  • Automatic shut off
  • 3 year warranty

The Bottom Line:

Overall the Cuisinart DGB-600BC Grind and Brew passes our tests with flying colors. Despite the negative reviews out there, there is simply no reason not to consider this machine it makes a tremendous coffee brew and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

If you want to buy this coffee maker I highly recommend you get it from Amazon here. You won’t find it cheaper anywhere else!

ACTUAL USER FEEDBACK:

Timm,

“This is an awesome coffee machine and I couldn’t have been more pleased with it. Like all coffee makers the first pot tasted I bit odd, but after the first few pots it has consistently produced a top quality brew. The carafe stays boiling for hours afterwards with no heating elements whatsoever. Simply put, it works great! …” Paraphrased for size – Read the original review here
